KATMANDU – Officials at Nepal’s international airport have seized about 100 kg of hashish hidden in cargo bound for Japan, police said Thursday.
The hashish, seized Wednesday, was concealed in false bottoms of 12,000 paper bags containing Nepalese handicrafts, police said, adding that Nepalese citizen Kiran Gurung has been arrested on suspicion of drug-smuggling.
