LINC Media Inc., a Tokyo-based firm that provides information technology-related services, has launched a new service to dispatch bilingual engineers on hourly contracts, company officials said Tuesday.

BiOS Net Care Service enables its clients -- especially small and medium-size foreign companies -- to secure skilled IT engineers without language problems, they said.

Small and midsize foreign enterprises, which cannot afford to hire full-time bilingual IT engineers, are the prime targets of the service.

Staff can be dispatched on basic 10-hour or 60-hour monthly service contracts to help client firms establish and maintain their IT networks, they said.

Basic 10-hour contracts cost 200,000 yen per month, while 60-hour contracts cost 732,000 yen. Staff will be available for an additional hourly charge of 25,000 yen, they said.
