OSAKA -- An Osaka man in his 40s has been diagnosed with cholera after returning from a trip to India, the Kansai airport quarantine office said Tuesday.
The man left for India on May 10 and returned home Thursday, the office said, adding that he started complaining of diarrhea and other symptoms on May 14.
His is the first case of cholera reported by Kansai airport this year, the office said.
