Initial optimism regarding the effects of interest rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve has turned sour.
There is no doubt that the rate cuts by the Fed -- a reversal from years of credit-tightening -- will go a long way toward helping to improve the global investment environment and bring about desired changes in investment cash flows.
The Fed is now expected to make several further rate cuts in the coming months.
