Nissan Motor Co. said Tuesday it will recall its Tino hybrid car with continuously variable transmission to fix a defective transmission system.
Subject to the recall are 128 units made between February and July, Nissan said in a report presented to the Transport Ministry.
Nissan said the oil-pump motor axis used in the CVT could break due to insufficient strength, and improper computer software could also damage the axis, causing the vehicle to stop.
