Prince Park Tower anniversary plans

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo will offer Collection 10, which are ten accommodation plans developed to commemorate the hotel’s 10th anniversary this year. The 10 plan themes are symbolic of the hotel and its location in the heart of Tokyo. To kick off the campaign, three of the 10 plans — Premium, Oasis, and Refresh — are now available for reservations.

The Premium plan offers a chance for female guests to enjoy being like the star of the movie “Pretty Woman,” experiencing being picked up in a luxury car, dinner and a stay in a premium junior suite. The plan is priced from ¥52,000 per person for a room for two with a Tokyo Tower view.

Oasis, which is priced at ¥25,800 (per person for a room with a Tokyo Tower view) or ¥20,400 (per person for a room for three with a tower), offers guests a chance to participate in a photo session with a professional photographer in nearby Shiba Park at the foot of Tokyo Tower. In addition to the photo session, bathing at the hotel’s spa is also offered.

Last but not least, Refresh is a plan for female guests only, offering a 95-minute French Thalasso therapy treatment, free drinks, on-demand video services and breakfast with accommodation in a panoramic king room, priced from ¥38,700 for one person.

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo is two minutes from Akabanebashi Station on the Toei Oedo Line and three minutes from Shibakoen Station on the Toei Mita Line. For further information and reservations, call 03-5400-1111.

Tropical afternoon tea at The Strings

The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo’s restaurant and bar “The Dining Room,” is offering a tropical afternoon tea set named shoka no ju (multitiered boxes of early summer) through June 30. Teatime is from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Under the theme “beautiful and healthy,” the set is priced at ¥4,000 (excluding tax and service charge) and is comprised of various desserts.

Items such as petit gateau and fruit salad made with tropical fruit are presented on three round Arita porcelain plates, together with a choice of one drink from a selection of 20, including different types of tea, coffee and mineral water. Highly recommended is the tropical mixed smoothie made with pineapple, orange, mango and passion fruit. The drinks are refillable.

A plate with three different kinds of scones — chia seed, Earl Grey-flavored and plain — served with clotted cream, jam and a brandade croquette with pumpkin dip — is also served. Guests can request multiple servings of the items.

The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo is one minute from Shinagawa Station (various lines). For more information and reservations, call 03-5783-1258 or visit www.intercontinental-strings.jp.
