"Superman: Shadow of Apokolips," a new game from Atari for PlayStation2, is an utterly forgettable 3-D adventure game in which Metropolis' man of steel vanquishes familiar foes.
Based on the cartoon series, the game begins with the unveiling of an unholy union. Kanto, an evil alien, has joined forces with Lex Luthor to spring a trap that will result in Superman's demise.
Like most superhero games, "Superman" features the cut scenes and animation that supposedly unify the various missions into a cohesive story line.
