A woman and her parents were sent to prosecutors Wednesday, facing charges in connection with the alleged murder of a man discovered headless in a Sapporo "love hotel" last month.

Runa Tamura, 29, her 59-year-old psychiatrist father Osamu and 60-year-old mother Hiroko, were issued a fresh warrant on Monday, accusing them of the murder of Hitoshi Ura, 62, whose decapitated body was found naked in a hotel within the downtown Susukino district on July 2.

An autopsy revealed that Ura's cause of death was hemorrhagic shock due to blood loss. The investigation led authorities to suspect that Runa Tamura inflicted multiple knife wounds near the victim's neck, including a deep laceration nearly reaching the lung.
