Old age comes to everyone, even Jackie Chan. But in this film he accepts his years with wisdom and grace — like a true Asian. Chan plays Zhong Wen, a veteran Hong Kong cop who gets taken hostage by his estranged daughter's boyfriend. There are almost no hard action scenes; in fact, this is probably Jackie Chan's most staid movie. He still has the moves, though, and strides through every scene like he owns it.
