This mystery/thriller stars Masaharu Fukuyama as a brilliant physicist, Manabu Yukawa, who is staying at a seaside inn when another guest is found dead. Yukawa suspects that this apparent accident is a murder, and his search for the killer leads him into a tangled web of lies and deceit that stretches far back. Based on a hit TV series, the film is a cleverly constructed if finally rather obvious puzzle. The Hong Kong release comes with subtitles.
