A formulaic drama about four American soldiers returning from the Iraq War: medic Will (Samuel L. Jackson), single mother Vanessa (Jessica Biel), Jamal (Curtis Jackson) and Tommy (Brian Presley). On their last mission in Iraq, they are ambushed — one loses a hand while another accidentally kills a civilian — and later back home, each suffers from their traumatic experience. Haunted by constant flashbacks, the four have difficulty readjusting to their previous lives, which threatens their relationships with their loved ones.
