This, the fourth and the feeblest adaptation of Jack Finney’s classic sci-fi novel “The Body Snatchers,” is likely to fade from memory as soon as you leave the cinema. Nicole Kidman plays a mother trying to prevent her son from contracting an extraterrestrial virus infection that transforms people into aliens during their sleep. Lacking essential creepiness or scares, the film’s most striking images are those of Kidman’s porcelaneous skin and her great figure in a tight pencil skirt.
