Keane is a Shiba mix who came to ARK four years ago, and though you would never guess it from seeing him in action, he is a senior dog.
He’s the epitome of the expression “cute as a button” and his habit of skipping with joy when he runs has been called “absolutely adorable.” He loves to run and he loves to outrun the staff.
Keane also loves food, attention and people in general, and he loves getting people’s attention by doing his best to play up to them. It’s hard to believe, considering how he was when he first came to the shelter: not happy around other dogs, not at all happy around people. All that has changed, though.
All Keane needs now is a family to call his own and to share in his joy.
If you are interested in adopting Keane, email ARK at Tokyoark@arkbark.net or call 050-1557-2763 Monday to Saturday (bilingual) for more information. Tokyo ARK is an NPO founded by Briton Elizabeth Oliver. It is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. All animals are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Prospective owners are requested to undergo a screening process. Web: www.arkbark.net.
