Long before there were Versace minis, Gucci stilettos and Chanel nail polish in Vamp, Vogue was there -- watching, documenting and dictating the trends to the fashion-savvy masses.

Established in the U.S. in 1892, Vogue magazine boasts editions in 11 different countries around the world, including France, the U.K., Italy and Russia. Surprisingly, Japan has never had its own edition of Vogue. But now is the time for fashionistas to get ready -- Vogue Nippon is ready to strike a pose on Japan's newsstands July 28.
