And this list of Halloween events in Tokyo and elsewhere is just the tip of the big orange iceberg.
For families and kids
Tokyo Disney Land and Sea’s annual event transforms the parks into the spooky spirit with Halloween parades and a Halloween fair selling toys of your favorite Disney characters wearing costumes.
Tokyo Dome Happy Halloween 2015
Paint your face, ride a roller coaster, try out Tokyo Dome’s Magic Quest, and enjoy a Halloween parade surrounded with pumpkins.
Tokyo Skytree Halloween Magic 2015
Tokyo Sky Tree will be holding Halloween dance performances and various parades. Take a break at Sky Tree Cafe and try its pumpkin doughnuts or wonder around the observatory and take in the Halloween decoration.
Happy Halloween 2015 in Sunshine Aquarium
Sunshine City’s Sunshine Aquarium gets scary by showcasing its “Dracula” shrimp and bat fish and having special nighttime viewings of their animals.
Halloween Tokyo Tower marks its fifth anniversary this year. The first floor of Tokyo Tower main observatory has prepared a photo studio where you can have your picture taken wearing Halloween costumes, while its Cafe La Ture will be serving a special Halloween cake set with pumpkin-flavored Mont Blanc.
Parades
Kichijoji Halloween Festival 2015
The three-day festival features a parade with costumed toddlers, and stores will be handing out sweets trick-or-treat style. (Tickets are available online.)
This haunted parade will be marching down Omotesando Street. Numerous shops and
restaurants around Harajuku will offer exclusive Halloween-inspired menus and items.
A giant Halloween parade will take over Odaiba. The event will be feature numerous artists such as MACO, Ueno Alisa and Miracle Veil Magic.
Shibuya Tokyu Hands’ cafe will turn into a living graveyard this season. Enjoy zombie-themed drinks and food while being surrounded by hordes of undead. A makeup corner will be also available with makeup kits and accessories.
The annual Kawasaki Halloween Parade returns with an expanded parade route and a cash prize of ¥100,000 for the winner of the parade’s annual best costume award.
This year’s theme is dressing up as your favorite movie character. So don your best costume and join Roppongi Hills’ parade gathering which usually receives over 3,000 participants every year.
Club events
The famed multi-storied club will be hosting Halloween-themed parties for five nights with a different theme and set of DJs for every evening.
Shibuya’s most famous club is holding a week-long Halloween celebration starting Oct. 24. Attendees will receive a discount if they dress up in costume on Oct. 31.
Roppongi’s elite club is coming back again this year with tombstones and spiders, along with three drink/food courses available only on its second floor.
During its week of Halloween parties, Vision will be featuring renowned artists such as CREAM, Mark Panther and Ueno Alisa.
Lega Halloween Trick or Treat 2015
The club will be hosting Halloween parties every weekend in October with costume contests and free admission starting at 11 p.m. There is no mandatory dress code but you might get your face painted with blood at the entrance.
TGC Night Halloween Party Osaka 2015
Tokyo Girls Collection takes over Osaka with a fair rather than a typical party. Check out some of the most fashionable costumes around and end the night with some live performances.

Toy Art Gallery will exhibit Halloween-inspired works including toys, sculptures and paintings.
Akasaka will have a rocking Halloween on Oct. 31 featuring three rock bands, while Nov. 1 will have eight pop idol groups and a variety of comedians.
Shibuya’s 109 stores will be hosting Halloween events such as contests, temporary tattoos, makeup services and fun photo opportunities. 109 will also give out exclusive fashion presents and candies to attendees.
Joypolis game center offers customers various events, photo booths and Halloween-inspired treats and games.
