Second-year right-hander Kenta Ishida had a scoreless-inning streak snapped at 26 with a seventh-inning run, but the Yokohama BayStars held on to beat the Chunichi Dragons 4-1 in the Central League on Wednesday and earn their first four-game win streak of the season.

At Toyohashi Stadium, Ishida (5-1) allowed a run on four hits and a walk, while striking out four. With a 3-0 lead, he surrendered a leadoff single and a double, and with runners on second and third, Ishida uncorked a run-scoring wild pitch.

BayStars setup man Tomoya Mikami worked a 1-2-3 eighth, while closer Yasuaki Yamasaki worked around a leadoff single to record his 12th save.

Takayuki Kajitani homered in the third to make it 2-0. Takehiro Ishikawa doubled in a run in the fourth, and Masayuki Kuwahara homered in the ninth to complete the scoring.
