Maharu Yoshimura won the Zagreb Open men's table tennis singles title on Saturday, overcoming Croatia's Tan Ruiwu 4-2.
Yoshimura was trailing 1-2, but came back emphatically to beat Tan 11-9, 9-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-3 in the ITTF Tour tournament in the Croatian capital.
Masataka Morizono and Yuya Oshima claimed the men's doubles title after a comfortable 11-4, 11-6, 11-5 defeat of South Koreans Cho Eon-rae and Kim Dong-hyun.
