Sara Takanashi produced her fifth podium finish of the season, coming in third in a World Cup meet on Saturday.

Takanashi, taking part in her seventh individual competition of the season, had leaps of 88 and 89 meters for a total of 236.0 points on the K85-meter hill.

"I enjoyed myself for the first time in a while on the first run so I pumped my fist. I felt like my body elevated," said Takanashi, who improved from a fifth-place finish in Oberstdorf, Germany, a week before. "My jumps are getting better little by little."

Current World Cup leader Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria won her third straight title and eighth overall championship after jumps of 93 and 91.5 meters for a 251.4. Germany's Carina Vogt (245.6) was second.

Yuki Ito was fourth after a leap of 87.5 meters on her first attempt, but finished fifth after only managing 84 meters on her second run.
