The Los Angeles Dodgers are still pursuing pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, general manager Ned Colletti said on Friday.
At a news conference to announce the $215 million deal for two-time NL Cy Young award winner Clayton Kershaw, Colletti said he has been in touch regularly with Tanaka's agent Casey Close, who also represents Kershaw.
"I've talked to Casey, not yesterday (Thursday), but every other day this week," Colletti said. "We'll continue to talk to him next week."
