Yuzuru Hanyu won the Finlandia Trophy by a landslide on Sunday.

The 18-year-old Japanese star won the free program with 180.93 points for a two-day total of 265.59, an unofficial personal best. Hanyu comfortably finished ahead of second-place Sergey Voronov, who ended up with 241.37.

Akiko Suzuki was second in the women's competition (180.54) after placing third in the free with a 115.97.

Rochette not ready

Olympic bronze medallist Joannie Rochette says she is far from ready for a comeback to high-profile competition despite upstaging some of the world's top figure skaters at a weekend event in Japan.

The Canadian, who has mainly focused on ice shows after medaling at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics just days after her mother's sudden death, said she would go to February's Sochi Games as a member of the French-langauge crew for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
