Saturday's ski jumping World Cup competition was completely canceled after strong winds continued to howl at Zao Ski Resort.

Sunday will feature a doubleheader, with the first competition starting at 8:30 a.m. Friday's official training had also been canceled because of heavy snowfall.

Overall World Cup leader Sara Takanashi, seeking her fifth victory of the season, measured 98.5 meters on the first of two practice attempts on Saturday, but couldn't get in a competitive jump as she was set to take flight last.
