South Korean President Park Geun-hye has again urged the Japanese government to resolve the "comfort women" issue, saying it is "high time to make a decision."

"I expect the Japanese government to quickly present a solution that is acceptable to the victims and deemed reasonably by the Korean people," Park said in a written interview.

On Nov. 2., in her first bilateral summit with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe since they took office in February 2013 and December 2012, respectively, they agreed to speed up talks to resolve the long-stalled dispute as early as possible.
