Italian sculptor Venanzo Crocetti (1913-2003) is best known for his figures cast in bronze, and in particular for his bronze relief “The Door of Sacraments” at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.

Next year will be the centenary of Crocetti’s birth, and to celebrate his life and career, The Hakone Open-Air Museum is exhibiting 33 of his works, including bronze pieces and some of the artist’s chalk drawings.
