Outspoken AC Milan attacker Keisuke Honda took a dig at Japan's corporate elite on Friday and reckons they could learn from the "manly spirit" Sepp Blatter showed in resigning as the president of soccer's world governing body FIFA earlier this week.

Blatter on Tuesday announced he will stand down as head honcho just days after he was re-elected to the post amid a widespread corruption scandal.

Speaking after joining up with the national team for a training camp in Chiba Prefecture, Honda said, "You ask me that? I don't have one," when Kyodo News asked the bleach-blond midfielder for his opinion on one of the most bizarre and tumultuous periods FIFA has seen in its 111 years.
