German second-division side Cologne announced Sunday it had acquired midfielder Kazuki Nagasawa on a 2½-year contract.
The 22-year-old, who had starred for Senshu University, had tried out for the club and taken part in practice. Nagasawa will be under contract through June 2016 and is expected to join his new teammates from Jan. 6.
