Taicoclub, the electronic-music event that unofficially marks the beginning of Japan's music festival season, is expanding this year to include a stage sponsored by Red Bull Music Academy.
The two-day event presents a mix of genres with a primary focus on electronic music. This year, more than 30 artists will perform including Takkyu Ishino, Clark, Autechre and the Robert Glasper Experiment.
Also on this year's roster is Taicoclub first-timer Matt Lyne, who will perform under the moniker A Taut Line. He is also one half of the group Greeen Linez and co-founder of the Diskotopia label.
