Left fielder/first baseman Brad Eldred agreed to a two-year deal reportedly worth $1 million (roughly ¥110 million). This past season, he hit 21 homers with a .294 average.

Setup man Jay Jackson and middle reliever/starter Bradin Hagens were inked through next season.

Jackson had a 1.71 ERA and tied Takeru Imamura for the team lead in appearances (67), while earning 37 holds. Hagens pitched in 50 games, posting a 2.92 ERA over 83⅓ innings.
