Misuzu Narita defeated overnight leader Esther Lee of South Korea in a playoff to win her second career title at the NEC Karuizawa 72 on Sunday.

Narita started the day six strokes behind Lee (71) but forced a playoff after her second consecutive round of 7-under 65 left both tied in regulation at 14-under 202.

The 20-year-old from Chiba sealed victory with a birdie putt on the second playoff hole at Karuizawa 72 Golf North Course after Lee could only make par.

It was Narita's first victory since winning her maiden JLPGA title at last year's Fujitsu Ladies, earning her ¥12.6 million in prize money.
