South Korean Kim Na Ri surged out of a tie for third in a round of 2-under 70 to win the Studio Alice Ladies on Sunday.

The 27-year-old Kim held off Yuki Sakurai by one stroke to finish at 4-under 212 for her first win of the season and second career title on the JLPGA Tour. She collected the 10.80 million yen in prize money.

"I hadn't won in about two years, so this makes me really happy," said Kim, who made four birdies and a double bogey. "The wind was really strong. I just tried to focus on conquering each hole one by one. My goal is to win three tournaments this year. I'LL make extra efforts so I can win again," she said.

Overnight co-leader Miki Saiki carded a final-round 68 and finished in a tie for third alongside defending champion Miki Sakai and Megumi Shimokawa at 2 under.

Minami Katsu and Nozomi Uetake, both 14-year-old amateurs, were 12th and 19th, respectively. Money rankings leader Rikako Morita ended in a tie for 15th, missing out her sixth consecutive top-10 finish since the start of the season.
