Sharent
A sharent (シェアレント) is a parent who regularly uses social media to provide a lot of detailed information about their children. Anyone who has ever used Facebook before knows exactly who we're talking about. These parents compulsively post photos, and blog and tweet about their offspring at every possible turn. Usually in their thirties, sharents were among the first to embrace social media and have no qualms about airing their thoughts in public. Now embroiled in parenthood, they think everyone else wants to come along for the ride.
