Shinjuku Samba Churrasco Fes 2017

A carnival of Brazilian culture has moved from its home in Tokyo's Odaiba area and relocated to the more central Kabukicho Cine City Plaza, located near Shinjuku Station.

The festival, which runs through April 9, includes stages featuring samba and capoeira (a mixture of dance and martial arts) demonstrations, and smaller booths will be selling Brazilian dishes such as churrasco (charcoal-grilled meat), coxinha (fried chicken dumplings) and feijoada (bean stew).
