The Toyota Alvark are going back to the title series.
Toyota came through, playing resilient defense, down the stretch and went on to book a spot in the NBL Finals with a 81-72 victory over the Hitachi Sunrockers in the decisive third game of their playoff semifinals at Ota City General Gymnasium on Monday night.
The Alvark will be playing in the finals for the first time in the 2011-12 season (dating back to the JBL era). They will take on the Aisin SeaHorses in the best-of-five NBL Finals, which begins Saturday at Yoyogi National Gymnasium Annex.
