Right-hander Masahiro Tanaka, who signed a seven-year deal worth $155 million with the New York Yankees last month, will be unveiled at a news conference on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium, it was learned Friday.

Tanaka, who went 24-0 last season to help pitch the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles to the Pacific League pennant and Japan Series championship, is the first Japanese player to move to the major leagues through the revised posting system that allows players to negotiate with multiple teams.
