Japan's Ryo Ishikawa had another rollercoaster ride en route to a 4-over 76 in the third round of the Masters Tournament on Saturday.
A day after making the cut at the PGA Tour's first major of the year for only the second time, Ishikawa had one eagle, two birdies and eighth bogeys to put him at 8-over 224 in a hare of 56th.
"My shots weren't very good today," said Ishikawa. "This is the toughest it has been for me playing (at the Masters), and I feel there are shots that I am still unable to make — so many things I have to work on. You clearly learn more things here in the final weekend rounds than at any other tournament," he said.
American Brandt Snedeker and Angel Cabrera of Argentina both shot 69s for a share of the lead at 7 under. Aussie Adam Scott was a shot further back, and fellow Australians Marc Leishman and Jason Day were at 5 under in a tie for fourth.
Tiger Woods, who had a two-stroke penalty added to his score due to an improper drop in the second round, fired a 70 and was still in contention for his fifth green jacket, four shots off the leaders in a tie for seventh.
