The Kyoto Prefectural Police arrested a 17-year-old high school student Wednesday on suspicion of drug possession after a raid on his house reportedly found small amounts of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia.
Police officers descended on the house in Kyoto after the student's younger brother admitted to smoking marijuana belonging to his older sibling. They arrested the student on the spot after making the discovery in his room.
The student, who goes to a Kyoto prefectural public high school, admitted to the police that the marijuana was for his personal use.
