On October 1, 2025, Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture; President: Kengo Suzuki) participated in the ASEAN Green Transformation (GX) Sustainability Forum 2025, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The forum served as a high-level international platform where government officials, international organizations, and industry leaders from across the ASEAN region gathered to discuss the transition toward energy transformation, carbon neutrality, and the realization of a low-carbon society.

During the closing program, at the “Happy Hour Session” starting at 5:00 PM, President Suzuki introduced Tsunan Sake Brewery and presented the brewery’s premium sake, “GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition.”
He explained the brewery’s craftsmanship rooted in the terroir of Tsunan, one of Japan’s heaviest snowfall regions, and its contribution to a circular society through the upcycling of sake lees. His remarks and sake presentation received strong interest and positive feedback from attendees.

Tsunan Sake Brewery is committed to enhancing the value of local resources through sustainable sake production while actively promoting Japanese sake culture in overseas markets, including ASEAN countries.
