Tsunan Sake Brewery Showcases at “Taiwan International Wine Tasting Festival 2025” with Keynote Speech and Fukuhaku Sake Collaboration Booth
Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture; President & CEO: Kengo Suzuki; hereinafter “Tsunan Sake”) participated in the Taiwan International Wine Tasting Festival 2025 (TILF2025), held in Taipei from September 19 (Fri) to 21 (Sun), 2025. On September 20, President Kengo Suzuki delivered a keynote speech introducing the traditions and innovations of Japanese sake, with a special focus on the Junmai Daiginjo “GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition” and the future of brewing with smart fermentation technologies.

At the event, Tsunan Sake was also featured at the booth of Fukuhaku Sake, a premium sake curation service in Taiwan. Visitors were introduced to “GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition” as well as other labels brewed by Tsunan Sake. President Suzuki himself supported the exhibition, engaging directly with Taiwanese consumers and buyers, and sharing insights into the brewery’s terroir-driven approach that maximizes local resources and heritage.
Fukuhaku Sake, known for its focus on high-quality sake and sustainable packaging, continues to contribute to expanding the premium sake market in Taiwan. This collaboration provided Tsunan Sake with a new gateway to reach Taiwanese consumers.
Outlook for the Taiwan Market
Over the past decade, the Taiwanese sake market has shown stable growth, with a rising demand for premium, high-end sake. By participating in TILF2025, Tsunan Sake has strengthened its presence in Taiwan and will continue to advance its export strategy and international engagement.
