Applications Now Open for the 7th Sustainable Japan Award

The Japan Times is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 7th Annual Sustainable Japan Award. Since 2017, we have been recognizing companies, organizations, and individuals making significant contributions toward a more sustainable society.

The Sustainable Japan Award welcomes applications from a diverse range of candidates, whether self-nominated or nominated by others. To ensure we reach those making a meaningful impact, our panel of judges also puts forward nominations. Through this award, we hope to highlight and share the efforts of individuals both in Japan and around the world that are making a difference.

The award features two categories:

■The Satoyama Category – Recognizing initiatives in regional revitalization and local development.

■The ESG Category – Honoring sustainability-driven activities within corporate frameworks.
