Space Seed Holdings has taken a stake in Singapore-based 144 Ventures

In August 2024, Space Seed Holdings, Ltd. acquired a portion of the outstanding shares of 144 Ventures Pte. Ltd. and made a capital participation. Going forward, Space Seed Holdings intends to engage in global entrepreneurial support in collaboration with 144 Ventures.

The company’s mission is to support entrepreneurs who aim to create sustainable ventures that will last for 144 years, thereby contributing to a sustainable future for generations to come. In order to expand the scope of support, the company name was changed from Glocalink Singapore Pte. Ltd. to 144 Ventures Pte.

The company’s objective is to identify and support startups in the food and agri-tech sector, particularly in Southeast Asia. This is in line with its commitment to promoting sustainable food, agriculture, and food security on a global scale. The company was established in 2019.

The director of 144 Ventures
Chia Shu Sheng (Ambrose)
He holds a Master’s degree in Technopreneurship and Innovation from Nanyang Technological University. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Factors in Safety from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and a Diploma in Marine Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic. She is passionate about community building and ecosystem development. During her master’s degree, she served on the program’s student committee, where she proposed and implemented various student-led activities. He currently serves as a member of the Founding and Development Division of LIBANES, where he aims to bolster the science and deep technology startup ecosystem through collaboration with higher education institutions and other innovation ecosystem partners. Additionally, he seeks to cultivate an innovation community comprising researchers and founders. His objective is to establish a community of innovators with researchers and founders, and to develop sustainable business models for societal benefit.
