Event Report: Space Bio Workshop, an event to promote the understanding and diffusion of space fermentation technology

Space Seed Holdings Ltd. and IDDK Co., Ltd are pleased to report that on Friday, August 16, 2024, Space Bio Workshop, an event aimed at promoting a broad understanding and dissemination of space fermentation technology, was held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
After an ice break and an overview of the event, the session began with an explanation of space fermentation technology, which is attracting attention toward the challenge of sustainable food in space. The next session was about IDDK’s MID technology (Micro Imaging Device) and laboratory automation in space, followed by a workshop on “MID Technology in Practice in Fermentation”.The workshop was designed to allow participants to actually use the devices and software while learning about IDDK Corporation’s MID technology and gaining insight into laboratory automation in space. Participants had a great time and enjoyed the opportunity to experience the latest technology!
