Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, CEO: Kengo Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as Tsunan Sake Brewery) participated in the “Sake & Food Fest 2024,” held over two days, March 23 (Saturday) and March 24 (Sunday), 2024, at Tokyo Skytree Town.

On the day, as ambassadors of Tsunan Sake Brewery from Niigata Prefecture, numerous live streamers from the live communication app Pococha, operated by DeNA Co., Ltd., participated and introduced Tsunan Sake Brewery and its sake offerings on-site.

Offered Sake:

With a desire for participants to enjoy the varying flavors of sake produced from the same ingredients but through different manufacturing processes, this sake was prepared for the event. It features a level of acidity and fruity taste that might remind one more of white wine than sake, yet the acidity is not overwhelming, leaving a refreshing aftertaste like melting snow. This junmai sake pairs well with dishes of whitebait or meat.

“Tsunan 藍Ai”
This sake offers a gentle aroma of high-quality sugars, reminiscent of a model ginjo sake. Upon tasting, a fresh, fruity fragrance spreads throughout the mouth. The aftertaste is smooth and refreshing, creating a sense of coolness. Recommended pairings include chicken tenderloin with plum dressing or tempura, enhancing the appetite with its refreshing aroma and taste.

“GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition”
A limited edition sake brewed from the local Koshihikari rice. Crafted with meticulous care and time by award-winning brewers, it features a unique ginjo aroma produced by a distinctive yeast and brewed with ultra-soft mountain spring water, achieving a balanced sake in flavor, aroma, and smoothness. Scheduled for release in April 2024.
