FARM8 Corporation will start selling SAKEPOST Gachapon Sake, a prize of Niigata sake with illustrations of the players, from the Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club’s home opener on 23 and 24 March.
Gachapon Sake with a chance to win Niigata sake and vessels
The Gachapon Sake run by SAKEPOST was born out of a desire to give people a taste of local sake from the region, with a special focus on Niigata sake. We hope that this gachapon sake will also create encounters with various types of sake.
When you turn the gacha, you are guaranteed to win sake and a sake cup.
The special prize is a 720 ml Junmai Daiginjo sake, while the regular sake is a 100 ml pouch of local sake.
Each sake has a portrait of an Albirex BC player on it.
The winner is a 100 ml bottle of Niigata sake with illustrations of seven players (Kazumasa Yoshida, Tomoya Mikami, Keisuke Kobayashi, Hiroki Inaba, Kata Sonobe, Shun Takayama and Shota Nakayama).
You can also win a wooden Masu with a portrait of a player!
Every 100 ml of sake is accompanied by a sake drinking vessel.
The sake cups also include an original wooden Masu with an engraved illustration of the players, so that the sake can be enjoyed at the venue as well.
Oisix Niigata Albirex BC Opening game
Oisix Niigata Albirex BC, a member of the Baseball Challenge League (BC League) from its foundation in 2006 until 2023, will join the Nippon Professional Baseball Organisation’s Eastern League from 2024, marking its first participation in a professional farm league in 66 years, On 24 March, Niigata-born singer Sachiko Kobayashi, also known as “Rasbosu”, who is popular on video distribution sites, will throw out the first pitch and sing the national anthem.

What is SAKEPOST?
This is a regular sake delivery service that started in November 2021.
Three (or six, depending on the plan) brands of sake are delivered in the post each month, in small 100ml original pouches, so that customers can compare and contrast the different brands of sake, which are locally loved and rarely distributed nationwide.
The pouch containing the sake only contains basic information on the sake itself, with no information on the brand or brewery.
The pouch allows people to taste the sake without preconceptions, and the QR code on the back of the pouch gives access to a page with information on the sake brand and brewery.
In addition, the data is converted into ‘everyone’s impressions’ of the drinks they drank by simply drinking the drink and answering the questions. You can see what everyone else thinks of the drink in the form of a graph, so beginners can feel at ease. The system also allows beginners to improve their knowledge of alcohol with ease, as they can see everyone’s impressions of the drink in a graph.
