Is this what the country needs? Cowardly politicians, bullies in the ranks, loudmouthed sexists without a brain?

The incident leaves me speechless. If the bullies were true men, they would have come forward earlier. [Akihiro Suzuki]and the other taunters should resign from the assembly.

And I suggest that, for a time, when Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly members of the Liberal Democratic Party [from which Suzuki quit following the incident] speak, they be booed, laughed at and ridiculed for the whole country to hear.
