Fukuoka's Ivorish excels at french toast, but this summer it has put a fruity spin on their savory desserts. The awkwardly named "Melon The Rocks" (¥2,000) includes french toast inside half of a honeydew melon, with chunks of green melon and jelly to drive home the seasonal theme. It's a big treat — served with dry ice, for dramatic effect — and a great way to chill out on a hot day, especially if you find yourself near its Shibuya outpost.
