Ice Monster, a Taiwanese shaved-ice store with a branch in Tokyo's Harajuku neighborhood, has opened a new pop-up restaurant in the Mercedes-Benz Connection store in Roppongi.
The pop-up offers only two flavors — mango (¥1,500) with real fruit, and coffee (¥1,200) — but the real joy is that you won't have to line up for hours, as you will at the Harajuku branch. Both flavors are perfectly sized for sharing and you also get a piece of white chocolate shaped like the Mercedes-Benz logo. Visit to beat the heat — and the long lines.
