In preparation for the 2012 completion of the Sky Tree, the world's tallest communications tower, this exhibition offers an understanding behind the construction's planning and building.
Introducing the cutting-edge technology used to build the tower, and an understanding of the historical area in which the construction is located, the exhibition comprises five "zones" that include comprehensive information about the site, a scaled-down Lego model of the tower as well as the opportunity to climb onto a real tower crane. Sky Tree architects were also involved in the planning of this six-month exhibit that reveals the extraordinary construction feat behind Tokyo's newest icon; till Oct. 2.
