With her mother gone and her father remote, 12-year-old Chizuru has little defense against the "black organ" — "a dark presence in (her)chest" — or the class bully, Tomoya Yu, whom she fatally stabs during a psychotic episode.

Amazon signs disaster relief delivery pact with Tokushima Prefecture
Amazon Japan K.K. signed an agreement Friday with Tokushima Prefecture for consumers to buy and donate relief supplies on the retailer's website in the event of a major earthquake or other natural disaster hitting the area.
