Dining with the dinosaurs
A T. rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and other dinosaurs welcome children visiting the Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo this summer in a diorama of the dinosaur world set up in the hotel lobby. More than 30 finely detailed miniature dinosaurs, made by German figure maker Schleich, come together in the diorama for the "Dinosaur Festa," which runs through Sept. 30.
During the event, Dining Ferio on the first floor offers children a dinosaur-themed plate for ¥1,600, featuring dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets and beef on the bone. For adults, there is a dish of curry and rice topped with a scotch egg and a sausage on a bone for adults for ¥2,400. Both plates come with a small dinosaur figure.
