The nation’s second-tallest condominium complex has been completed and is waiting for some 8,000 people to take up residence in its 2,800 units on the waterfront in Chuo Ward, Tokyo.
According to Orix Real Estate Corp., the 58-floor, 193-meter-high building has the most floors in Japan for a condo.
Prices for a unit ranged from ¥39 million to ¥216 million. All have been sold.
The complex, named The Tokyo Towers, consists of two high-rises and a lower building containing a swimming pool and gym.
The complex was built on property that previously hosted warehouses. On a clear day, Mount Fuji and Yokohama can be seen from the upper floors.
The complex incorporates the latest quake-resistant technologies.
