The ISPS Handa Championship Japan, a golf tournament organized by DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour) with the International Sports Promotion Society as the title sponsor, will be held from April 25 to 28 at the Taiheiyo Club’s Gotemba Course in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture, at the foot of Mount Fuji.

The ISPS is a charity organization founded by philanthropist Haruhisa Handa that contributes to social welfare and international cooperation through sports.

The event, co-organized by the Japan Golf Tour Organization, will see 156 players, including stars such as four-time major winner Ernie Els and three-time DP World Tour winner Christiaan Bezuidenhout from South Africa as well as four-time DP World Tour winner Rafa Cabrera-Bello from Spain, compete for over $2.2 million in prize money.
